Je'Milya Janae Hudson is the 3rd Ambassador Council President for the P.E.A.R.L.S. Mentoring for Girls, Inc. organization. She is a member of the Holmes County Chapter of P.E.A.R.L.S. where she has been a member for four years. She was also served as ambassador council vice president for the 2018-2019 P.E.A.R.L.S. year.

She is the daughter of Jessica Thurmond-Gregory, Dora, and Alphonzo Greer of Tchula, Mississippi. She is an active member of the Greater Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church in Tchula, Mississippi where she is in the youth choir and sometimes serves as mistress of ceremonies during service.

She is a proud Sophomore at Holmes County Central High School in Lexington, Mississippi where she holds a 4.0-grade point average. She is also a member of the National Beta Club, an organization that promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership. She also reigned as Miss English I during the 2019-2020 academic school year.

When asked what does this position mean to her, she replied, "It's an honor that I don't take lightly. My mentor, who is also the founder of P.E.A.R.L.S., always says that P.E.A.R.L.S. is creating, not only leaders
in society but, powerful women. I would like to think that I am a part of the process. They're depending on me to represent them well and I don't plan on letting my sisters down."

Jamilya says this organization has given her a sense of belonging. "I'm the only female child in my family. This organization has given me sisters whom I can talk, vent, cry, and laugh within a safe and positive space."

Her biggest influences are her parents. "They support me in everything. Not only my hopes and dreams but everything I've set my mind to."

My platform for the year is "P.EA.R.L.S. Strong". P.EA.R.L.S. has gone through so much this year. We've had members and mentors lose family members, my sisters had to miss experiencing prom and celebrating their graduation with family and friends due to COVID-19. Even in the midst of all this, we are all here for one another. So through this platform, I want to create more unity in our organization from all parties. I want to lead P.E.A.R.L.S. in a powerful and strong direction. To show them that even in the negative there are still positive areas as well.

She has high aspirations of graduating from high school in her junior year. After graduation, she plans on attending the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in criminal justice. She wants to become a judge.
