New Advisor for P.E.A.R.L.S. Leflore has been named on today.

P.E.A.R.L.S. Mentoring for Girls, Inc. announced in a press release that Latrice Smith will serve as its Advisor in their Leflore County Chapter Area.

Smith first joined the P.E.A.R.L.S. family in October of 2016. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her B.S. in Business Administration. She now works on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University

When Latrice was asked about her feelings about her new role she replied,"I am excited about becoming an Advisor for our P.E.A.R.L.S. Chapter. Our girls will learn and experience something new and  each experience brings out more confidence in them that grows the connections we make with one another."

"Latrice and I have work close with each other this year. She has shown me that even in negative situations you must remain positive. Her leadership over the past years has been the foundation for the growth of our organization” says Aisha Erma Lenora Saffold, P.E.A.R.L.S. Executive Director.
